When "yes" means "no" – Quick Tip

When "yes" means "no" – Quick Tip

I heard a great tip the other day from a friend and wanted to share.

Many cultures around the world have a notion called “saving face.”
In essence, it’s about making sure they don’t offend anyone. Unfortunately if you don’t come from one of these cultures, it can be very frustrating. E.g. You ask “Can you come to dinner on Friday?”, they say “yes”, but come Friday, no one shows up for dinner.
My friend’s tip was this: Don’t ever ask yes/no questions! GENIUS!
