Quick language tip: Internet radio

Today I thought I’d share a quick language learning tip.

One of the trickiest things about learning a language is often you are doing so from your own country. To really learn a language, you need to be regularly listening to locals speaking it.
Hello internet radio!
There are heaps of internet radio channels from soooo many different countries and in so many different languages. You can often listen to them on your portable devices and even your home sound system-you don’t have to be stuck on a computer.
It’s a quick way to immerse yourself in your target language on a daily basis.
As a bonus, you also simultaneously learn about the culture, news, trends (music etc), politics and more of the country, whilst picking up the sounds and words you need to learn – all improving your cross-cultural awareness of that country/language group.
Happy listening!
