No, not the little bugs that make noise. I mean the sport. 

Cricket is a great game. Australia and India just happen to be amongst the most passionate nations when it comes to this sport.

So naturally, whenever there is a match between Australia and India, there is potential for tension in my marriage 🙂

Take yesterday’s One Day match. When I left work, India was doing well – too well for my liking!! They were 1/203 or similar. They ended on 3/309. I didn’t talk about cricket at all that evening, just in case my worst fears came true.

But this morning I awoke to the great news that Australia won! (5/310 in case you’re interested) I sheepishly told my husband why I hadn’t spoken about the cricket yesterday.

His response? “And now I don’t want to talk about the cricket.” 🙂
